Thank you for requesting an application for residency at Braidwood Manor.

Braidwood Manor is a 100 unit, federally subsidized Section 8/202 Senior Housing community. The apartment building is owned by S. Dunstan's Episcopal Church Non-Profit Corporation and is currently managed by Independent Management Services. Braidwood was built in 1982 as an outreach program, by the church, to enable seniors to live comfortably within their financial means during their retirement years.

Located in the heart of Downtown Davison, Braidwood is within walking distance of shopping and activities. During the year one can enjoy the Farmers Market; the Festival of Flags; Friday night car cruises; the Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Homecoming and Christmas Parades; lest anyone leave out Pumpkinfest in the Fall. Eateries, boutiques, hair salons, banking, Secretary of State Offices and several churches are at the backdoor. Braidwood has a lunch program in association with GCCARD, a variety of activites, visits from the Padiatrist and a nurse on regular basis and on staff, a full time Service Coordinator. The Service Coordinator helps residents with insurance issues and programs to keep the resident independent for as long as possible.

Braidwood Manor is NOT a licensed care facility. Residents must assume responsibilty for their own care and the care of their apartment.
